There’s a new file sharing gang in town!  Meet Ge.tt. Sure, there are plenty of them out there, but this one is just a little bit different. As soon as you click ‘upload’, your file is ready to share. No waiting for the upload, just send out the short URL it provides.  It even provides easy access to share the link by email or on Facebook and Twitter!

It’s great to see a service that’s so simple to use and doesn’t need any explanation. It’s a single click to share a file and there’s no need to install any plugins or applets.  It all just works in the browser!


You don’t even need to sign up for an account to share your file.  However if you do sign up for a free account, you can have access to all of your shared files and can also see live statistics on views and downloads.

Uploaded  files also include a “view” option that allows anyone to look at shared files right in the browser without having to worry about file extensions.  Nice!
